DJI's First Variable Aperture Action Camera
As DJI's first action camera with a variable aperture of f/2.0 to f/4.0, Osmo Action 6 breaks away from the traditional fixed-aperture design and offers aperture modes that suit a wide range of scenarios.

OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection
The DJI OsmoAudio ecosystem supports direct connection to two DJI microphone transmitters, allowing for high-quality stereo recording without a receiver. Two DJI microphones are required and are sold separately; the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported.

Cold-Resistant with 4-Hour Battery Life
Stable operation from -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F) ensures reliable shooting in extreme environments.

All-New 1/1.1-Inch Square Sensor
Equipped with a new 1/1.1-inch sensor, Osmo Action 6 supports up to 4K/120fps recording in 4:3, maintaining clear detail in both low-light and high-contrast scenes.

50GB Built-in Storage
With 50GB of built-in storage, you can keep shooting without worry, even when you do not have a memory card on hand.

New 4K Custom Mode
Powered by DJI's custom-designed square sensor, Osmo Action 6 debuts the 4K Custom mode that allows you to shoot first and crop later. Freely crop into multiple aspect ratios, giving your creative work greater flexibility.

Multiple Stabilization Modes
RockSteady 3.0 keeps your shots steady, and HorizonSteady supports video recording up to 4K/60fps, effortlessly capturing every dynamic moment even over bumps.

20 m Waterproof, 60 m with the Case
Waterproof up to 20 meters without a case and up to 60 meters with the Waterproof Case. With the built-in colour temperature sensor and water pressure gauge, Osmo Action 6 delivers true-to-life underwater colours and records your dive data.

Before You Dive
- The shutter and record button is disabled at around 0.14 MPa, roughly 14 m of depth. The exact depth may vary with water conditions, air pressure, and device status.
- The built-in water pressure gauge works only when the camera is submerged without the Waterproof Case, and activates at 1 m of depth.
- Check that the Glass Lens Cover and screens are intact. Close the battery compartment cover and the USB-C port cover, and tighten the Glass Lens Cover.
- The camera is rated to 20 m on its own. Install the Waterproof Case for long-duration underwater shooting or in environments with high water impact pressure, which extends the rating to 60 m.
- Do not use the camera in hot springs, extreme underwater environments, corrosive liquids, or unknown liquids.
- Air dry the camera before changing the Glass Lens Cover, to avoid fogging caused by water entering the lens cap.
- Rinse the camera with clean water after use underwater and air dry it completely before using it again.
- Osmo Action 6 and its Waterproof Case carry an IP68 rating.
Notes
- Osmo Action 6 must be activated through the DJI Mimo app before use.
- In Auto mode, five aperture ranges are available (f/2.0-f/4.0, f/2.2-f/4.0, f/2.4-f/4.0, f/2.6-f/4.0, and f/2.8-f/4.0), with f/2.0-f/4.0 as the default. In Large Aperture mode the aperture is fixed at f/2.0. Available aperture modes depend on the shooting mode and accessories in use.
- The 4-hour operating time was measured at 25°C (77°F) recording 1080p/24fps (16:9) video with RockSteady on, Wi-Fi off, voice and gesture control off, and screens off. Battery life in the European Union and the UK may differ due to local regulations on operating temperature.
- High-performance modes such as 4K/120fps video, 2.7K/60fps Subject Tracking, and 4K SuperNight consume more power and cause a noticeable rise in temperature. Extended recording or prolonged handheld use also makes the camera feel warm.
- Subject Tracking is available in horizontal shooting only, up to 2.7K/60fps, and is not supported when the Macro Lens is attached.
- 8K recording is limited to 16:9, with EIS restricted to RockSteady and RockSteady+, and FOV limited to Standard, Natural Wide, and Wide. Film Tone and Quality Priority are unavailable. Maximum ISO is 12800 in normal colour and 6400 in D-Log M.
- Gesture control detects either hand within a 2 m range; do not cover your head with your hands.
